WhyNote notebooks not only are eco-responsible in terms of the use made out of them and the resulting paper savings, that’s why an extra attention has also been paid to the manufacturing processes and the materials used to make them.

FSC certified paper used to make the WhyNote comes from responsible forestry. More specifically, FSC Mixte labeled paper, which indicates part of the materials used in the process come from recycled paper.

The paper provider shares the same values as WhyNote. Ideally located in Switzerland, it is also ecologically committed and all its logistics are climate neutral.

Use, Erase, Restart at will! Like a whiteboard.

The special treatment applied to the paper of WhyNote notebooks allows you to easily erase your notes and reuse it almost indefinitely. So you can reuse the same notebook again, again and again… without having to buy new ones regularly.

Each page can be reused more than 300 times, a single WhyNote is equivalent to more than 6’000 sheets of paper saved!

And in order to further extend its lifespan, all the elements of this notebook can be recycled and replaced individually.

In a process of reducing the carbon footprint, every detail counts and taking into consideration the environmental impact linked to transport is essential.

In order to minimize it as much as possible, WhyNote favors local production and selects its various partners also based on geographical criteria.

Thus WhyNote manages to concentrate all notebooks’ manufacturing stages in Switzerland, within a restricted radius of 15 km around Lausanne.

The WhyNote’s assembly is carried out by Polyval, a Foundation employing people with disabilities and/or in social difficulty.

Through its actions, Polyval Foundation works for the professional and socio-professional integration of each individual. Through its adapted workshops, it contributes to equal opportunities and to strengthening ties within our society.

The Foundation thus offers propitious working conditions to the exercise of a rewarding professional activity for people with health problems or disabilities. As part of its project for personal development, Polyval offers to all its employees a regular monitoring and establishment of development objectives to promote their fulfillment.
